Return Policy

Returns

Our aim is to enhance the entire furniture shopping experience, starting from the very beginning and all the way to the end. We offer free returns within 30 days of eligible items in new and unused/resalable condition. We charge a return shipping fee equal to 15% of what you paid for the product, with the original packaging intact. If you're unsure about your purchase, remember to keep the original packaging—there will be a 10% restocking fee for items returned without it. The fee is always capped at $250, per returned item.

Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment within 48 hours of confirmation that the shipping carrier is in possession of your return. Depending on your financial institution it may take up to 2 weeks to receive your refund.

We are unable to accommodate returns / exchanges / refunds for the following items:

 Any item marked as 'Clearance' or specified as on 'Final Sale'

 Any form of Display items

 

Return Eligibility Criteria 

To qualify for a return, products must remain in a usable condition, free from any stains, tears, burns, pet-related damage, odors, or other forms of soiling, as determined solely by Auster's discretion. The acceptance or rejection of returns is entirely at the discretion of Auster. Auster reserves the right to request descriptions and/or images of the products to assess their condition before approving returns. Failure to comply with Auster's requests may result in the rejection of the return request.

Please note the following conditions for return eligibility:

 Products shipped outside of the continental United States are not eligible for return.

 Missing an appointment for a return pickup from your address will incur a fee, which will be clearly communicated when Auster schedules the pickup on your behalf.

 Individually purchased components or add-ons that were not part of your original order are not eligible for returns.

 Slight variations in color (as determined solely by Auster) and firmness level are considered matters of personal preference and not defects. Products may be returned for these reasons within the return window, but return shipping fees, as described above, will apply.

 Failure to complete the returns process within one week of receiving instructions from Auster may result in Auster's refusal of the return.

Important Notice: Please be aware that if the item you wish to return does not adhere to the conditions outlined above, Auster will be unable to accept the item, and it will not qualify for a refund.

 

Cancellations

Please email us right away if you would like to cancel your order, please let us know as soon as possible. Our email is help@austerhome.com

If your order is canceled before it departs from our warehouse, you will receive a refund. However, please note that shipping fees are non-refundable if your order is canceled after it has already left our facility.

If an order is cancelled after starting its journey to you, a return shipping fee of $150 plus applicable taxes will be deducted from your refund total. These return shipping fees apply even if your order hasn’t arrived at your home yet, as cancelled or edited items need to travel back to our warehouse.
