Shipping

Depending on the size of your item, you’ll receive either In-Home Delivery & Assembly (White Glove) or Free Doorstep Delivery. 

 

Larger Pieces: 

For larger items, including case goods, beds, and dining tables, we ship via specialized furniture freight carriers. These carriers will call, email, or text ahead of time to schedule a day and time for your delivery. There are two types of deliveries:

• Doorstep Delivery: the delivery is made through the first door of the address (i.e. a garage or porch) or to the lobby of an apartment building or condo, with no appointment needed.

• White Glove Delivery: the delivery is made directly to the room of your choice. The furniture will be unpacked, assembled, if necessary (i.e. our dining table and beds), and all the packaging will be removed from your space.  An appointment is needed and will be scheduled directly with the carrier.

If a delivery date and time cannot be scheduled with the freight carrier, storage can be accommodated at a price-per-day fee. All customers are responsible for any and all storage fees incurred. Fees may also apply if you miss your scheduled delivery date. If you have any questions about how the delivery process works, please contact help@austerhome.com

Shipping takes about 1-3 weeks, depending on the size of the item and delivery location. We currently ship to the 48 states in the contiguous United States. We do not ship to P.O. boxes. Please note that while we prepare your order for shipment immediately, it can take large furniture carriers around 2-3 business days to pick-up your order. If you have a deadline for receiving your furniture, please contact us before placing your order so we can help! 
 
 
Smaller Pieces:
Free Doorstep Delivery on smaller items including, coffee tables and dining chairs, will be delivered to your front door. Some pieces may need minimal assembly—if so, it should take less than 20 minutes and easy-to-follow instructions will be included with your delivery.   
 
 

Delivery Day:

Prior to delivery, you will receive a phone call to schedule a time that works for you. Our logistics partners will bring larger items into your home and will set up them up for you. In some cases, boxes and packaging may be removed prior to bringing the pieces into your space. Blankets may also be used to protect both the furniture and your floors.

 
 

Do you ship to remote addresses?

We currently ship to all of the continental US and Canadian provinces. If you would like to ship your order to Alaska or Hawaii, please reach out to our Customer Care team to support processing your order. Note, an incremental shipping fee will apply. We hope to expand in the future so keep following along if you are located outside of Canada or the US.
